iBlog Summit on May 7

The U.P. Law Internet & Society Program will be hosting the first Philippine blogging summit entitled iBlog on May 7, 2005 Saturday from 9 am to 5 pm at the UP NISMED, UP Campus. This is a FREE event but registration at the iBlog website is required.
This will be a whole-day conference featuring CICT Commissioner Dondi Mapa, The Sassy Lawyer, Yugatech, Dean Alfar, the PCIJ Bloggers and many more.

I’ve registered and I’m going to do my darned best to be there, specially in the afternoon, for the speakers. The schedule of activities may be seen here. I’m hoping to meet the Blogkada in person, and see Sacha again. See you!

Well, we got some work done, lol. Thanks to Gino’s template, we were able to make the first draft of PTM’s Consti and By-laws. Sitter Mae, you were sorely missed! And did Aj end up eating someone’s socks? :bleh:
WoT Philippines

I attended my very first chat session with the members of the Wheel of Time Philippines. I’m relieved that I’ve finally found fellow WoT fans here in the Philippines. Aside from my brother Ayi (who hated Book 10), the only other person I know who likes WoT as much as I do is Sir Ando. I hope this group flourishes. I’ve decided to take a more active role with WoTP than I was with TPTS. I’m still excited about attending TPTS’ Christmas party this December 18 though. Who knows, after meeting with the people, I _might_ become active. :geeky:
WoTP’s Christmas party and EB will be on December 4, and I’m so stoked about it. I’m just a bit sad that I’m not one of the founders of this group, cause I really really _really_ want to establish a Filipino Aes Sedai community, much like The White Tower and The Little Tower. I’m in a reminiscing mood right now. I’m glad my old page on Semirhage is still up. It was my project for being raised to Accepted in The White Tower. I miss my Aes Sedai days. :coffee: I think maybe I’ll rejoin one of the two Towers. :hyper:
