Feeling a bit nostalgic. It’s been months since I last hung out by the ole Geffen palm tree until past 12 midnight, sharing laughs and stories with these people I met online who have since become friends. 15 sieges to go and I’m still feeling the rush, the fun. This is the last hurrah for most of us. Old faces are back, and we remember the reasons we stuck to the game in the first place.

I’ve been playing Guild Wars again, now that Sehanine is 99/70 and RO has temporarily lost its appeal on me. While sieging with Rose Croix has been fun and exciting, the routine hardly ever varies. Same with sieging with AE. I’ve been playing RO for what, 2 years now? And I’ve been sieging since WoE started. Defense, offense, emergency call style, old school style - been there, done that. Especially after all the high points of sieging with RC. Since Nix hasn’t been using the account, I figured why not play again, and this time, complete the story.

Nymeria Stardust is a PvE character, a Mesmer/Elementalist. She just turned level 18. 2 more and I ascend. I’ll start a Warrior/Monk after that, or maybe a Monk/Warrior. I’ve missed playing a healer. I usually do the easier quests with henchies, but I’ve done PUGs too. There are groups that suck, and groups that work well. I’ve had my share of Leeroys. The best group I’ve had so far was the group I did Villainy of Galrath work. Excellent teamwork, and our healer was decent. No Leeroys in that group.

I was a bit peeved at some of my partymates during Tuesday’s siege. There were 2 hunters who kept on saying Magni on party chat without even bothering to look at the buff icons on their screen. Hello, Magni has a duration, at naka Magni pa kayo! High-blood enducing, the same level as the hunters who insist on Double Strafing instead of retrapping when we got overwhelmed with Cooltrix people at the courtyard. There was this female huntress who kept on asking for buffs. Masyadong asa sa buffs! There were only 2 priests - me and Haellan. The wizards didn’t have a priest in their party at the start so I had to move to that party.

Medyo high blood talaga, hehehe. I don’t think I’ll be able to siege tomorrow. On Tuesday, I’m going to use Butter instead. Acid-Demo happiness!
