Missing Kris

Nix, Kris, Mog, Jane and I went out last night to celebrate the end of our most overworked term yet. It was also Kris’ despedida. He left at around 5am today for the US to see Celine and to look for Internship prospects.

We went to Cable Car and we had so much fun! The Freaky Four played a n00b game of pool while consuming a barrel of beer. I ordered this mudslide that had way too much vodka. The Cable Car Fried Rice is really good, and Mog and I shared a small order. Try it with a liberal helping of Knorr seasoning and Tabasco hot sauce. Yum. Then this Danish guy started giving Kris tips on how to hit the balls on the pool table. His name happened to be Kris too (Chris?), and he was pretty cute eventhough he was so wasted. He ended up giving us his beer barrel because he couldn’t finish it and had to leave. He left with a mug of beer, lol. I don’t think anyone stopped him. Probably more like no one noticed. When we were drunk enough to sing, we moved to the videoke area and hogged the mic for 7 songs, hahaha. Singing Buttercup was the most fun! We got everyone in the place to sing with us. We even got Kris to sing! Like he said, it’s our graduation song, lol.

I miss Kris.

Jane was so noisy! When we were backing the car out of the parking lot, I told Kris to call the Manong Guard so we could give him a tip. Jane was at the backseat and as soon as Kris had the window down, she started yelling Manong! Manong halika dito! Thank you Manong! That girl has some future selling balut on the street in case this Software Engineering career backfires. She was singing a bastardized version of Crazy for You at the condo, and she was so irritating, hahaha! She kept interrupting Mog, who was telling us a story, and then she’d say So get on with it Mog! eventhough _she_ was the one who interrupted in the first place! That biatch!

Argh, I miss Kris so much. Yeah, sometimes we yell at each other, and we argue a lot, and I hate his guts most of the time. But I love him too. So Kris, you come home soon, you hear? And bring me a Something Corporate shirt!

Mog, send me the peektyurs!

Bits and Pieces

Last Saturday, Reins called me on my mobile while I was eating dinner at Francis’ house. She asked me if it was true that I was getting married that weekend. OMFGWTF!?! o.O Apparently, the rumour was sparked by a certain blog entry by Joey. He mentioned me in an entry about the movie, Love Story, that I was his Jenny in high school. Then, without mentioning any other girl’s name, he segued into something like the love of my life is getting married this weekend. LMAOROFL. I texted Reins that it was a fluke, lol, and that I wasn’t the girl Joey was referring to. Besides, if I was going to get married, Reins would be one of the first people to know. She’d probably be in the entourage anyway. But marriage is so far from my mind right now. Maybe in 10 years or so. Lol.

The defense went pretty well, though I was a little disappointed in the panelists we were given. No offense meant to Sir Rolly, Miss Chervie and Miss Cecille. I was just expecting Sir Mitch and/or Sir PKF. All that terror was for naught. Sir Rolly was his usual sharp and thorough self. So was Miss Chervie. We have till next Tuesday to revise the documentation. As for the system, Sir Rolly wants it ready for next school year’s 2nd term.

Waukeen got hacked and deleted. I feel angry and sad for him. Wauks is like an institution in pRO. He’s one of the original Chaos guys. Deleting him is like deleting a part of pRO history. The word is that it was an inside job. An enemy faction paid a LUG employee to hack-delete Wauks and a couple of other high profile leaders. I wonder what LUG is going to do about this. If it _was_ an inside job, I’m glad I’m not working for LUG any longer.
