Good and bad news.
The good news is, I’m not sick anymore. It wasn’t appendicitis and my kidneys are still intact. I’m drowning myself in water and cranberry juice, and I’ve been cutting back on my coffee intake. Yes, really. ;-p
Plus, my dial tone’s back, after a month’s vacation. On the downside, PLDT somehow fucked up while repairing my dial tone and ended up breaking my DSL. I now have a constantly blinking DSL light on my modem, and no DSL at all. Boo. Don’t you just love PLDT?
Another good news is that I managed to sort out the PLDT bills, finally. I learned that if you pay through the bank, it usually takes 3-5 working days for the payment to be processed. Which is why my payment wasn’t reflected on the online bill yet.
I got the phone that I’ve been waiting for last Thursday, and it’s looking quite positive. Pray for it to turn out the way I want it to turn out.
I’m starting at Fitness First on April 1. Lol. I’m going to stock up on Salonpas as I forsee a few days with uber sore muscles. And I’m getting a haircut on the 4th because Lourd won’t be available until then. Bummer. I’m dying for a haircut already. Oh well, at least I’ll look good for the Holy Week reunions. Vanity, thy name is Tala.
The 1 week of rest did me a lot of good, I think. That, plus TLC from <3 this weekend. I’m ready to face the stress of the job again. I think. :-p

Let the 3rd time be the charm
I received the phone call I have been waiting for (for 2 weeks now) last night. Then, before the person could introduce himself, I lost my signal because I was stupid enough not to have gotten off the elevator in time. *slaps herself*
I tried calling them back. The number was a trunk line. And I didn’t know the person’s extension number or his name.
They called again this morning while I was in the middle of another phone call (call waiting goodness). By the time I switched lines, they’ve already dropped the call.
Frustration!
So I’m throwing out this wish to the void. Please call again. Please don’t call between 3:30-6PM today. Please leave an SMS message with your extension number so I can freaking call you back!
I’m so fucking frustrated. Gah.

The best scene inthe entire movie. More than makes up for that anticlimactic scene where a Spartan jumps over Leonidas and stabs (everyone in the theater holds their breath, thinking, “He’s going for Xerxes! He’s going for the kill!”) Xerxes wtf some troop leader? Okaaay.
The Queen rocks.
